Psychotherapy Fees & Coverage

  • Clear information, without hidden surprises.

  • Individual psychotherapy is $180 for a 60-minute session.

  • A free 15-minute phone consultation is available for new clients who would like to ask questions and see whether Waves feels like the right fit.

  • Receipts are provided after payment. Many extended health plans include psychotherapy with a Registered Social Worker (MSW, RSW), but coverage varies. Please confirm your plan’s requirements directly with your insurer.

  • Private psychotherapy at Waves is not covered by OHIP.

  • Sessions are available online across Ontario, by phone, and in person in Ajax. Fees for other services are shown when booking or can be confirmed before you schedule.
