About
Waves
You deserve support that sees the whole of you.
Waves Psychotherapy is an Ontario-based psychotherapy practice founded by Nicole Pitt, MSW, RSW, a social worker, psychotherapist, educator, and ASL-English interpreter. Waves was created to offer trauma-informed, inclusive, and whole-person support for people navigating anxiety, trauma, overwhelm, identity, life transitions, and the lasting impact of what they have carried for too long.
Mission
At Waves Psychotherapy, our mission is to provide trauma-informed, inclusive, and client-centred psychotherapy that supports healing, emotional resilience, and meaningful growth. We help individuals navigate anxiety, trauma, overwhelm, life transitions, and nervous system dysregulation through compassionate, evidence-based, and holistic care that honours the mind, body, and lived experience.
Our Vision Statement
Our vision is a world where people feel safe to heal, supported in their growth, and empowered to live with greater self-awareness, resilience, and connection. Waves Psychotherapy strives to make mental health care more compassionate, inclusive, and accessible by honouring the whole person and creating space for lasting, meaningful change.
