Support that goes beyond surface-level solutions

Nicole Pitt is a Registered Social Worker, psychotherapist, educator, and ASL-English interpreter. Her work is rooted in trauma-informed practice, anti-oppressive frameworks, disability justice, and Deaf culture affirmation.

Waves operates on the traditional territories of the Haudenosaunee, Anishinaabe, and Huron-Wendat peoples, and the home of the Métis Nation. This land is covered by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, an agreement to share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes. We are grateful to live and work on this territory and we honour the resilience and continued presence of Indigenous peoples across Turtle Island.
